Kaita TAHI Hummel-JIBIKI
FoundeR
Kaita is the Founder of Academy of Psi and a TEDx speaker with internships spanning Nuclear fusion at Oxford University, brain research at Cardiff university, chemistry at Imperial College of London, and microbiology at Victoria University of Wellington.
He is currently studying a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Otago.
BIANCA LIM

Bianca Lim is a driven student with a strong record of leadership, competition success, and community involvement. She has led teams of 60+ as Head Girl of Macleans College and achieved national awards in case competitions and karate. Currently studying at the University of Otago, she is working toward a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance with a minor in Computer Science.
Kevin LI
OPerations lead
Kevin Li achieved a 9.0 GPA (A+) across his first-year Computer Science and Piano Performance papers at the University of Waikato, while also completing Cambridge AS Level examinations and earning NCEA Scholarship Biology and Music during his final year of high school. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Otago.
Academy of Psi is a student-led initiative dedicated to reducing inequalities in access to medical school coaching and tutoring. Founded in 2024, Academy of Psi has already supported over 2,000 students through free resources and materials. Our exclusive summer course has seen nearly all participants gain admission to medical schools in New Zealand.
In 2025, Academy of Psi expanded internationally, partnering with schools in Hong Kong and Singapore to open pathways into prestigious universities in the UK and New Zealand.
